Girbaud Says His Alleged "Racist" Comments Were Misinterpreted, "I'm French, Oui"

SOHH recently caught up with fashion designer Francois Girbaud to address reports that he was displeased with his brand's association with hip-hop.

Several weeks back, the New York Observer reported that Girbaud pulled a Crystal and didn't like the attention his brand received from the hip-hop community. The French designer, who isn't completely fluent in English, mentioned that the language barrier may have contributed to his words being misinterpreted.
