HHDX News Bits (Jay-Z, Jermaine Dupri)

For those that missed Jay-Z perform at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom a few days ago (Nov. 10), there are a few highlights to pass on. Lil' Wayne and Jay formally squashed any beef between the two stars. During their performance of "Hello Brooklyn 2.0" Wayne pointed at Jay-Z and said, "Best rapper alive," before pointing back at himself and stating, "Next rapper alive." The show also marked what may have been the industry's worst kept secret, Lox member Jadakiss' addition to the Roc-A-Fella crew. On a much more serious note, Jay-Z did pause his set so he could get the crowd to send their condolences for the passing of Kanye West's mother, Dr. Donda West, which HipHopDX continues to do also.
