Mr. Lif Plans Groundbreaking Music Release Method

Boston-born, Philadelphia-based emcee Mr. Lif is most known for reaching the contemporary underground Hip Hop community with conventional views on the culture in songs like "Because They Made It That Way." Starting this September, however, Lif is stepping into tomorrow with their approach to releasing musical content.

Themed around this year's election, leading up to Election Day (November 4), Lif is recording, mixing, and digitally released one to two singles every week. The full album, titled I Heard It Today, will then release on January 20, the day of the next American President's inauguration. The singles will feature what's being billed as "cutting-edge political commentary."
