Floyd Mayweather Jr Robbed For $7 Million In Jewelery

According to a spokesman for Las Vegas Metro Police Department, recently retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr's home was burglarized sometime between 8 p.m. Aug. 17 and 4 a.m. Aug. 18. The intruder broke in through the southeast side, by smashing a window separating the master bedroom from the pool area, and made out with over $7 million in jewelry.

Las Vegas detectives last week sent out a press release, seeking assistance from the public in solving a case in which "four people forcefully entered a home in a gated community in the northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley, taking unique items." The press release did not name Mayweather as the victim. It was only discovered that it was Mayweather's home that was burglarized when on Tuesday (Sept 2) a representative of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation announced a $100,000 reward for information leading to recovery of the stolen items.
