Los Angeles City Attorney Spokesman Frank Mateljan says that next week the district attorney's office will decide whether or not to charge Kanye West with a misdemeanor for his brief skirmish with a paparazzi photographer earlier this month. West and his road manager Don "Don C" Crawley were arrested Sept. 11, after engaging in a confrontation with a TMZ.com videographer and a still photographer from a paparazzi agency. Both West and Crawley were released later that day, after each posted $20,000bail.
