Paperboy Returns With King Tee-Produced Album

West coast rap veteran Paperboy received a Grammy nomination for 1993's hit "Ditty". After releasing three albums including 1993's Whole Nine Yards and 1996's City To City and 2004's The Love Never Dies, the Los Angeles artist is at it again.

On October 14th, he'll release The New News, on TTL Records, which is distributed by Koch. The label is also home to fellow rap veteran Warren G. The album will include a 15 year update of "Ditty," this time produced by Terry Troutman, a founding member of seminal '70s and '80s Funk group Zapp. The original song featured a Zapp sample of "Doo Wa Ditty."
