Charlie Murphy's "Hot Ghetto Mess" Too Much For Advertisers
At least two companies have reportedly pulled ads from the premiere of "Hot Ghetto Mess," Charlie Murphy's new BET television series.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, State Farm Insurance Cos. and Home Depot requested that BET pull their ads from the series' premiere scheduled for July 25.
"[I] wonder why no-one is pulling ads from Maury Povich and Jerry Springer, but everyone is up in arms about 'Hot Ghetto Mess,'" Murphy told SOHH.
