Horoscope

July 20, 2007

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You do have an unusual way of putting ideas across now. But there's no need to explain yourself – your friends already get it, and those who aren't your friends will probably never get it.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). A bit of madness delights you. You'll pleasure in today's many nonsensical and absurd occurrences. You're not too grown-up to be fascinated by the fanciful ramblings of a child.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). It's a backward day, so look at it in a backward way. See the end result before you make the beginning move. Fellow air signs, Libra and Aquarius, are invested in your success.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Most of your choices happen so automatically that you don't even recognize them as being choices. But today you're presented with two unmistakable options. Pick the one you haven't tried before.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). When your creativity is stymied, it's a sign to toss out the rules. Trade seriousness for silliness. Make a sport of exaggeration, so that even you can't tell how much of what you say is true.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Your age is a mind-set. Think about where you've set yours and how feeling younger could help you. Your passion increases as your internal age decreases.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You're so confident now that even if you don't get the reaction you'd like from your peers, you tell yourself that it's no big deal. You're right. The ones who do have a favorable reaction more than make up for the others.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Rebellion is a hobby of yours – one you'd like to practice now. You rather enjoy being contrary. In fact, when people agree with you, it immediately makes you feel that you were wrong.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). As lottery winners will attest, getting what you want isn't a guarantee for happiness. Luckily for you, it's always been about the chase. The stars see you in hot pursuit and loving every second.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Before you get to work, do the internal work. Psych yourself up. Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you're great. You can't outperform your own self-image.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Lately you've been wondering whether what you're going for is too shallow a goal. Fear not. Nothing is small, and nothing is shallow. Inside each of your goals is the answer to the meaning of your life.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Some of your pet peeves will show up in the habits of older people. (For instance, you can't see the point in reminiscing about things that never happened.) But your tolerance of others paves the way for a happy evening.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (July 20). You make measurable progress toward a long-held goal in the next four weeks. Surprising occurrences become a part of your love story in September. You act as though work is a game in October. As a result, you see new ways to play it expertly and make more money doing so. Leo and Scorpio people are avid supporters. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 16, 1, 49 and 11.

Ga. Supreme Court hears teen sex case

The courtroom was packed with supporters and cameras Friday as Georgia's top justices heard arguments over whether a young man serving a 10-year prison term for consensual oral sex with a fellow teenager should be freed.

The long punishment spurred angry protests and led the state to change the sentencing law. A state judge in June ordered the young man freed, but because of an appeal by the state attorney general, Genarlow Wilson remains behind bars.

Horoscope

July 19, 2007

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You're in a hard-driving mood. It's unrealistic to expect yourself to be thoroughly competent in all possible respects. Lighten up, though, and you'll perform to the height of your ability.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Take hold of your thoughts! Worrying about a possible danger doesn't ward it off, or even decrease its affect. More likely it has the opposite result. Steer your mind to sunny places.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Not everyone is as tactful as you, but if no offense was meant, let it go. You win by staying neutral. A new design in your bedroom will spice up your dreams.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Is “domestic bliss” an oxymoron? Not when the household is being run by a moonchild such as yourself. With a few snappy alterations you'll restore harmony at home.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Increase your number of pleasant interactions with loved ones. Chances are, they won't multiply on their own. Apply your expert flirting skills, and watch the electricity return to your love life.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Too many couples only talk when they have a problem to discuss. You're proactive in regard to your relationships and start interesting, lighthearted conversations – pointless and wonderful.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Can a person be cooperative and competitive at the same time? For most, the answer is no. And yet you find a way to bring home a personal win and still have the appearance of being the consummate team player.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Make decisions the Scorpio way: Listen to many opinions, consider them carefully and ultimately go with your gut. You get a wink and a nod from someone you wanted to impress.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). There will be conversations with your inner critic. What a meanie! The negative comments you wouldn't accept from others, you also shouldn't accept from you.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You'll notice a few remarkable differences. You're more powerful, for starters. Those who weren't responding to you quickly now snap to your request. Things didn't change – you changed.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). It's not difficult to figure out what to do. You make mature choices based on what's right for a relationship. It just so happens that it's also what's best for you. Yes!

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). When you have no investment in how a relationship plays out, you become more attractive. So don't stress. Toss the situation into the wheel of chance and see what happens.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (July 19). You feel as though you have magical powers – indeed you do! You blast through closed doors and find loopholes in impossible policies. This inspires you to find new things to want in August. You were probably shooting too low before. With some hard work and hard play, daring dreams come true in November. Taurus and Libra people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 20, 43, 24, 39 and 11.
