Teen alleging rape turns to YouTube

The video is hard to turn away from. A sobbing 16-year-old sits in her bedroom and, staring into a camera, says she has been raped.

Crystal, 16, of Florida, posted a video on YouTube pleading for help after she allegedly was raped.

"Hi, my name is Crystal ... I need some help. I didn't want to do it this way, but it's the only way I know that's going to work, that someone out there in the world is gonna listen to me."

The teen, whom CNN interviewed but is not identifying by her last name, is among dozens of young people who are turning to social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace to talk about sexual assault.

MySpace wins $230 million in Internet spam case

The popular online hangout MySpace has won a $230 million judgment over junk messages sent to its members in what is believed to be the largest anti-spam award ever.

A federal judge in Los Angeles, California, ruled against a notorious "Spam King," Sanford Wallace, and his partner, Walter Rines, after the two failed to show up at a court hearing, MySpace told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Moore plans 'Fahrenheit 9/11' sequel

Michael Moore is taking America's temperature again.

Moore, who won the top honor at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival with "Fahrenheit 9/11," plans a followup to resume his examination of the nation's status in the world in the years since the September 11 attacks.

"Fahrenheit 9/11," the only documentary to top $100 million domestically at the box office, was a harsh, hilarious critique of George W. Bush and his administration in the wake of the attacks.

Star Jones' soon-to-be ex vents online

It's not easy being Al Reynolds these days.

The soon-to-be ex-husband of Star Jones says he's "been called a gigolo, a freeloader, unemployed, a sham and many other things that don't bear repeating" since Jones filed for divorce in March.

Reynolds posted a 485-word rant on MySpace and Facebook on Tuesday, using the social-networking Web sites to air his frustrations with media coverage.

Don't confuse that with what Clinton said in a debate just a few weeks ago about how she was confident that either she or her opponent could win in November.

Soulja Slim's Murderer Remains Free

When Soulja Slim (née James Tapp) was murdered on the front lawn of a New Orleans duplex in 2003, there was both an outpouring of sympathy and outrage on the slain rapper's behalf. Family members, fans and local residents also hoped the killer would be quickly identified and sentenced. Four years later, the man who shot Soulja Slim multiple times remains free, and authorities believe he has committed or assisted in at least three other murders.

Garelle Smith was arrested in connection with the murder of Soulja Slim in 2003, and he was also charged for his role in the murder of Mandell Duplesis in 2007. The New Orleans Parish District Attorney's office says Smith remains free because they lost track of witnesses in both cases.

Sources close to Nate Dogg shot down reports that have surfaced on various Internet websites, prematurely reporting the singer's death. Lil' Wayne's DNA Tested In Weapons Case

Lil' Wayne gave up a DNA sample to prosecutors in a Manhattan court yesterday, evidence the state hopes will link the rapper to an unregistered gun.

As SOHH previously reported, cops nabbed the rapper on gun-possession charges last July when police found an unregistered, loaded .40 caliber Springfield Armory semi-automatic. The gun was recovered inside a Louis Vuitton bag. Cops allege they saw Wayne toss the bag off his lap as they boarded his parked tour bus.
